Aren't u guys jealous?! classroom on the rocks by the seasides... literally... my demostrator on the rocks... he moves so fast and steady like a mountain goat... *duh.. with hiking boots who won't... * but must be proud of ourselves the little sheeps following behind him... we managed our way out to the classroom 5.1 haha
This is not the end... The BEST has yet to come... just when
we thought the 3 hours at stop 5 would not be as havoc as Stop 3 on the 1st day... we meet up with a decision to make... to 'create' a shortcut 200m up from the bottom of the mountain to its summit... *siao rite* and without a words, the guys in group just started climbing... well... me... always the last of the group... taking pics, and next moment... up on the 80 degrees steep 'slope' -> if u still can call they a slope... vertical slope??
(no pics for the slope... i was too preoccupied to make sure i dun slide down the slope =.=... which i almost did)
Like mc said " we risk our lives to see THOSE rocks... "and there we were, walking on them, climbing on them, sitting on them... to feel and learn about them... [this is totally crazy, but that's the way it is... i guess dythe would really love wad i have been doing for geology - i can feel being like u.. haha]
This pic was taken when i 1st got up from the 'slope'... looked like a mad woman after climbing =.=" notice the rainbow behind?! nice?! Thanks to the blessing of showers, we have been seeing rainbows since morning til then end when we head back to uni... It has been following us everywhere!! That's just the begining of a rainbow forming!

The BEST reward when u climbed hard and crazy enough to get to the summit... entire view of the ocean with a bridge of rainbow right in front of u... this just made everything worthwhile!
Who can hang a rainbow in their classrooms?!
Only we can! Rainbow by day and Milkyway by nite!!!

Monday: cold and moody, (i guess?) acutally rite now i also can't really remember... At 1st dun even want ta go to sch, but cannot declare hols coz i then realised that i have pract that day. Charise walked with sotong to sch and then slept thru 1st lecture again... Bio... movie time, the lecture switched off the lights of half the LT and madee it so romantic for sleeping... ha... but i was awaking when to talk about important things...din really sleep throughout actually, i still know wad she was talking about ( stuff like PRC... ).
Brunch: chicken + cheese roll. Munched and do bio ws at the same time, then went for chem lecture... another boring one... And 3hours break! (just like now... just that today is friday.. yea..) I was doing work in Mayo til quite late... i was staring blank at the end and saw my senior at the end of the table waved at me. (din realised that until 5 secs later =.=)
Then, BOmB, bio pract... disasterous for the previous pract... scored so damn low and that garlic sotong score so high!!! *protesting* The pract was okey... and slow but kind of interesting... i was chatting with mc sometimes during pract.. basically everyone was chitchatting while doing the expt... coz the pract just... easy... It was the graphs that kills... and the report too! tho i was kind of prepared for it, but then it still takes me 2 hours to draft and 3 hours to actually write the entire report... ( i know dythe is going to nag.. he was nagging on monday nite too... but then not only i am doing it at this speed... seriously it takes time to write and to come up with a good format... trying v hard to score high for the 5%) But i kept in mind that i have to work quick! *charise good doggie de*
So monday nite was gone writing report and tuesday nite too writing report too.
Tuesday: Morning 1st thing Geo Pract. I was kind of early that day ( well, earlier then i would normally.. few mins only... the bus was fast that's why - for that day... hahah... well the pract was okey... the lecture was okey... (charise was dreaming away).... then that 3 hours breaks too... dreamy day man.... couldn't really start work... and when finally reached the 5 pm psychology class... i tot it would be a good end... *charise was quite sian sian waiting to go home le* And just as the lecturer starts lecturing, i felt that i have gone to the wrong lecture....
The lecturer was interesting, just that i was on the wrong topic at the wrong time. It was talking about unconditional and conditional stimulus and responses.... under the topic of learning. So he went on to describe the dog experiment (forgotten the 'scienific' name le) anway... so here it goes like this: a tube is inserted into the mouth of the dog - of coz the dog is being tight up and mouth is taped... *poor doggie* FIRSTLY, like anay biology experiment (though this is psychology) u have to starve the object to be tested to get accurate and better results - like yeasts cells for fermentation and plants for photosynthesis, so in this case, the poor dog gets it.
Then, the experimenter will RinG the BelL before giving food to the starving dog... this is to test how fast is the rate of salivation will take - thus after some time when this action is repeated over a week or two, it would be able to test the rate of response... the change from unconditional response to conditional.
By then when the dog hears the bElL, he would come to associate food with bell - bell means food!!! And unfortunately when charise was at the lecture... she was not with a full stomach... ate lunch super early.... >.<>.<~ and the worst is that for the entire lecture the lecturer was saying about ringing the bell and associating food with the bell.. I was having gastric pain and thinking of was to cooking already! hope that he will end early so that i can RUSH home and cook my dinner... lol... experimental results - PoSitIve.
That was really close shave for the doggie... if not would faint half way during lecture le.. thanks to my loyal supporter - fats... hahah
then after dinner the doggie was battling with bio pract again... from 8 pm do all the way until 12 + i guess.... the graph was really stupid… draw already either the straight line is really straight with 1 dot anomalous, else it has to be a perfect CurVe instead of perfect LinE… so… bo pian lah… ended up asking my housemate Mel to help me hold the ruler and I draw the curve lor… hahah thanks to her that I manage to spot some of my mistakes in the pract also. If not two graphs all gone case le…
Charise was waiting for Dythe’s msgs also… =) energised by the msg and continued… I was trying to do as fast as I can too… but then I guess that the speed everyone else does… yesh… still… I would try to work my way faster =.=
Wednesday: Declared Holiday!!!! The Charise’s sleeping day… morning sotong called and I told her that I am not going to uni le… gave up on the 2 lectures and a tut… well… not much I guess – sure for bio but then actually still feel like going to chem lecture, just that too late le… wake 7am then went back to sleep til 10 + washed up, eat then finish up my bio ws! *finally* - coz need to hand up on Thursday ( =’<>

Well well.. this things was well publized in the village for about 2 weeks... community has been asking people to sign up to cook a cultural dish down and enjoy the evening of food and activities planned and of coz, to meet people from all over the world...
At 1st, i din intend to join at all... well, lazy to cook, really... cooking is really troublesome... especially u are required to cook ur own v unique cultural dish... =.=" come on... wad is unique from Hong Kong that is EaSy to cook!? instant noodles? instand dimsum i guess... but then it would defeat the entire purpose of multicultural day... the day for not only other to learn about your culture, but to remind urself of ur own origin and practise ur tradition - gosh.. sound so like governemnt saying that "we must preserve our own uniqueness and cultural trandition!" *diaoz... too much NE from sg*
Then my buddy in this kumpong - the sotong on the 5th floor was saying that as long as we help out for flag painting and stuff we can EAT for FREE... please note the word "eat" and "free", who wouldn't want that? haha, and food incentive works best for me... so sat after shopping from Central Market and straight away went down to help painting.... abit here and there... coz there weren't much flags left not painted.. (i was kind of late... but that sotong was even later... hmpt! tell me come down so early to paint and she slowly come down from 5th floor... this prove that 8 or more legs doesn't help much... synapse is the speed limiting factor.. ha =p) anway... after painting... well.. the dog got paint everywhere also... paws and legs... then, the community really knows how to make full use of volunteers, ask us to cut stickers... but of coz we are willing to help coz we din do much anyway.. and it was an easy task... just move ur fingers to get it done.. and Done! *i tot so too* Just as we tot that we are done - accumulated enuff credits for free food on sunday... one of the helper reminded us that we HAVE to cook a dish to come down for the party.
FinE!... coz the sotong and I were worried and for dunno wad reason we worried... we ended up run out of the kumpong to buy ingredients to cook for multicultural day... red bean puff...
BiG MISTAKES man.... coz ended up i cooked most of the stuff.... boiled the red bean. made the paste.. til 4am on sunday, got woken around 9+ >.<>.<>
The tok was.. short and crappy? everytok is crappy anway... and the feast started... ate alot! hunted down alot of food... thailand noodle salad, tea leaves eggs, sushi, muffins, INSTANT wanton (there are actually people to bring that out .. gosh) bee hoon soup, korean babie....etc.... and amazing our red bean puff was "sold out" quickly... one of the fastest to be gone! Charise down here was really happy... at least, the hard work was pay off.
The rest of the multicultural day is just like multi-racial day back in sch... quiz time, then best dress and best dish award... stuff like that... i ran off half way to rest and start work... see my schedule below and u will know... all thanks to such stupid decision of joining the 'party' i lost my time for working on my tests, pract, hw and EXAM!!!! the dog was kind of pissed off... but then it was a "food-filling" day.
With sleepy monday coming around in the corner.
